William Cowen: First Member of First Ed.D. Cohort at UNE

When William Cowen presented his dissertation recently, he became the first member of the first cohort of the Education Doctoral program at UNE Online.

The title of his study is “An exploration of intrapersonal communication as a self-leadership strategy in social entrepreneurs.”

In his professional life, William Cowen is an instructor at Villanova University in the Department of Communication and is the Area Coordinator for Public Relations.

In addition to his academic duties at Villanova, he is the owner and founding president of Metrospective Communications LLC, a Philadelphia-based public relations agency serving Fortune 500 companies through entrepreneurial ventures.

Cowen is also an award-winning practitioner, consultant and educator, as well as an industry-quoted and published author. Serving many organizations throughout his career, some recent clients include:
