Master of Emergency Management Degree (MSEM)
A 36-credit program designed to prepare students to successfully lead or coordinate an organization’s response to a disaster and to determine preparedness and training activities. Built to be interdisciplinary, allowing students to pursue a range of careers upon graduation, including roles within emergency response teams, city/town leadership, training development, municipal planning, and more!
Graduate Certificate of Emergency Management
Students have an opportunity to get started in our graduate-level certificate program, which will stack into the MS of Emergency Management. In addition to working toward the goal of the full 36-credit master’s degree, students may achieve a smaller credential along the way since many of the required courses of the certificate are also part of the master’s degree curriculum.
STEP 1: Students seeking a tuition discount must be registered at UNE and have a Personal Reference Number (PRN)
STEP 2: Once registered, please fill out the following Scholarship Application Form for the upcoming term. You must fill out this form for every term you are taking classes.
STEP 3: Provide a copy of your IAEM Membership Certificate (Log into https://www.iaem.org/, go to the menu and choose Dashboard, under My Account select View Membership Certificate, download and include with this form.)
STEP 4: Email completed form and IAEM Membership Certificate to UNE’s College of Professional Studies at onlineadmissions@une.edu.
STEP 5: The College of Professional Studies will confirm receipt and your eligibility by email. This information will be shared with the UNE Student Financial Services and the discount will be reflected in your account.
