You will be able to reach your instructor through the course. Courses are held in the learning management system, Brightspace, and there is easy messaging available to communicate with your instructor.

 

There are no required prerequisites for Leadership Series.

The Leadership Series is offered 3 times per year, and will run for 4-weeks per course, starting in January, April, and September.

 

Upon the successful completion of the Leadership Series, you will receive a certificate of completion.

No, each course offers a certificate of completion.

The estimated time commitment is about 4 hours a week. Some courses have more if you engage with all of the optional content.

  • This offering is pass/fail. If you are not able to complete the course as intended, please let your instructor know.
  • To successfully complete this course and receive your certificate, you must complete the following:
    • Assessments: Achieve a score of 80% or higher on all 4 module quizzes.
    • Journal Entries: Complete all module journal entries
    • Exercises: Complete all module exercises.
    • Discussions: Submit an initial post to each module’s discussion board.
    • Course Survey: Complete the final course survey, and complete the survey verification in Module 4.

UNE Online’s Leadership Series is delivered 100% online and asynchronous, meaning there are no scheduled meeting times for class. You can complete the coursework when it is convenient for you.

You will be assessed on your comprehension of course material via quizzes and application of new concepts and skills when you complete assignments. You must submit all the assignments as defined in the course and grading rubrics in order to receive a Certificate of Completion. Discussions, instructor support, and feedback will be available to all participants.
