Your Payment Roadmap

Once you’re accepted and registered, the next step is setting up how you’ll pay. UNE Online offers several flexible options — from direct payment to financial aid to monthly payment plans — so you can choose what works best for your budget. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about paying your bill, receiving refunds, and understanding how withdrawals may affect your account.

Registering for Classes

Tuition charges are based on the number of credits in which a student is enrolled. After acceptance into a UNE Online program, students register for their courses through UNE Compass. Self-funded PBPH/SPHP students will register through ERx.

Once registration is complete, tuition and fee charges are issued electronically, no paper bills are mailed home.

Payment Options

After receiving a tuition bill, students must establish a payment method:

  • Direct payment
  • Tuition Payment Plan
  • Financial aid

Students using Veteran Education Benefits or third-party billing should contact Student Financial Services directly for assistance.

Refunds and Disbursement

Refund schedules for online programs are published on the UNE website and vary by session. Students are encouraged to enroll in Direct Deposit to expedite refunds. To set up direct deposit you can log in to UNE Compass. For more information on setting up direct deposit, see the Student Direct Deposit Instructions PDF.

Withdrawal and Financial Impact

Students considering withdrawal should review UNE’s Withdrawal and Refund Policies prior to taking action. Financial aid, living expense funding, and military benefits may be affected based on the timing of withdrawal. Questions regarding the financial implications of withdrawal should be directed to Student Financial Services.
