Lacey Sawyer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maine at Presque Isle and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of New England. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Maine and Oregon, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor III (Oregon), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (Maine) and Certified Clinical Supervisor (Maine). Having a drive and passion for macro social work and systemic change, Lacey has developed new programs in underserved areas, participates in a variety of grassroots efforts and continues to engage with and volunteer through Maine Equal Justice and MCD Global Health. Lacey has operated as a clinician specializing in co-occurring trauma and substance use treatment, clinical director, supervisor, and program manager. Lacey self identifies as a social justice warrior.
