UNE Gives Back!

GPH Donations to the Unhoused:

UNE Online and our Graduate Programs in Public Health recently gathered to assemble care packages for unhoused individuals in our community. Together, this resulted in about 82 care packages for our unhoused neighbors.

🌍 We partnered with Hope Squad Maine – a dedicated group of volunteers who operate a mobile outreach that provides love, compassion and resources to the unhoused in Portland.

How can you get involved?
1️⃣ Identify an organization in your area working with homelessness.
2️⃣ Volunteer, advocate, provide support or donate.
3️⃣ Share your service experience with us on social media by posting pictures using the hashtag #UNEONLINEGIVESBACK.

Plus, the hours you spend volunteering count toward earning a Service Cord for graduation! 🎓
